How can I obtain ruby binaries for FreeBSD?

Thanks in advance.

ruby is available in the FreeBSD ports collection (In fact, it’s used in
maintenance scripts), so there’s packages available from ftp.freebsd.org

I have recently built ruby 1.6.x and 1.8.x from the ports collection.

I’m sure there’d be a ruby 1.8 pkg (at least) as well.

There appear to be several FreeBSD ruby related ports, although I have
only built ruby-sqlite.
