Since this thread made the Ruby Weekly News wrap-up, I feel obliged
to follow-up… :^)
Sure! It still needs to be done…
Well, I was just planning on lurking until I’d figured things out a
little better. “Better to keep silent and be thought an idiot than
to open one’s mouth and remove all doubt.” ;^)
Anyways Ned, thanks for your help and encouragement on this project!
Cheers,
After the list discussion about using Vim as a front-end for the Ruby
editor, I decided to make a library for remote control of Vim from
Ruby. This should allow someone (else) to modify debug.rb so that it
uses Vim for I/O and display.
It uses Matju’s RubyX11 library, but requires minor patches to that
library (which are included).
Get it from

Please give me feedback.
Thanks,
