GUI toolkit supporting Global IME?

I’m unable to confirm which if any of the Ruby GUI toolkits support
text entry in other languages through Global IME. I’m unable to get
anything but “???” in Tk. Please let me know if you’ve succeeded in
doing non-English text entry through IME in any Ruby-capable GUI
toolkit. Thanks.

As Far as I know it works on Tk, I just tried one of the widgets samples
(text display styles to be specific) with IME using japanese input, it
behaved it like it does on any other app.If ??? it’s all you see, check
on the fonts used, there might be something else but haven’t actually
gone that far(check that src), the reason I’m pursuing tk it’s exactly
that: unicode/*.
