Gems changes?

From: Assaph Mehr [mailto:assaph@gmail.com]

Hi Assaph!

a. You should run update-rubygems after the gem-install to actually
update the library.

I guessed that, and tried typing "update-rubygems" (sic) and that didn't
work, so I figured I was wrong ... almost never happens :-).

When I replaced the mistyped hyphen with an underscore, it worked
perfectly.

b. use 'gem env' instead of 'gem --version' for more details.

Thanks for that. I now get ...

  C:\>gem env
  Rubygems Environment:
    - VERSION: 0.8.4 (0.8.4)
    - INSTALLATION DIRECTORY: c:/ruby-1.8.2/lib/ruby/gems/1.8
    - GEM PATH:
       - c:/ruby-1.8.2/lib/ruby/gems/1.8
    - REMOTE SOURCES:

Yee ha!

Thanks again.

Harry O.
