Gem mirrors list and main server outage

Hi, during today's rubyforge maintenance outage, I could not
update/install my gems. I understood these were served by mirrors and
that you automatically got redirected. Is it because the redirection
happened on the server that was out?

Is there an independant list of mirrors not served by rubyforge?

Precisely. I'm rsyncing over the files now; should be back online...
perhaps in an hour or so.
