Hi,
Related to the blogging software request does anyone know of some
reasonably “ready” solution for setting up a small community site with
forums etc (à la the ones at sharereactor.com and elsewhere) that is based
on Ruby instead of Php (phpbb2 + postnuke I think is a popular
combination)?
I have to set up a small community site and would hate to have to install
and check out php for that… 
Any pointers appreciated,

Umm… yes. We’re standing in front of osdn.org.ua and wouldn’t
like to do it with phpnuke and friends. OTOH from_scratch is not
realistic for now too
