Hi:
At work I am installing ruby, but we need to keep
the std packages seperate from the add-on packages,
such as those in the RAA.
To facilitate this, I run ./configure with the --prefix
and the --with_sitedir options.
After install ruby, I began to add packages.
One of the first ones I installed was eruby (0.9.7). For some
reason, eruby installs liberuby.a in PREFIX/lib.
This is somewhat bothersome, since our distribution mechanism
will not be able to update eruby with the other packages.
Is this intended, or am I missing something?
