Depends, I use both on my site.
Also, ERB has an advantage of being embeddable everywhere, whereas Haml only
renders HTML.

No experience with erb (or haml in ruby, either), but I've used scalatra
(Sinatra for scala) and it uses a flavor of haml (scaml). Man, that
sentence looks like lisp. Anyway, I really like haml. It is very
terse, very light. I like that the understand that the world is made of
div's and make it very clean to declare them. For all that I know, ERB
might do the same.
Anyway, of all of the frameworks and such that I've used/played with, I
like this best...

How about Markaby? It's a bit like Haml and I, for one, like
understanding what will happen without learning quirks of yet another
syntax.
