Did anyone ever make eRuby + Apache + CGI work?

If you did, can you please paste the configuration and sample programs
here.

I am trying to get this up and running as an Alternative to ERB /
RAILS to deliver mobile WAP sites.

Oh it works, it's just a pain in the butt to set it up.
Just need to do a lot of config with Apache!!
FCGI not CGI
plain old CGI will be s l o w

Have you tried the config suggested here (very bottom of page):

If so, what sort of errors are you seeing in the apache error log?
