I agree. While it may increase the noise-to-signal ratio, searching two
different archives is a pain in the ass.

I realize there's ruby-talk-google, but that only started mirroring
posts recently.

I thought the gateway was down indefinitely. Too bad, because google
groups offered the best searching of the archives. The search
for the
[official ruby-talk archive][1] is awful.
