Bad file descriptor

Hi,
Does anybody here use selenium? If yes have you experienced an error
"Bad File Descriptor...."?
When i try to run on of the selenium examples for ruby i get the above
message.
Can anybody offers some help.

I'm using ruby 1.8.5.24 on windows xp with latest selenium rc release.
