Australian ruby jobs

Hi all,

A quick question, are there any companies out there doing ruby (with
or without rails) based projects in Australia (Sydney)?

Would any of these companies be hiring staff?

Thanks,
Carl.

Not that many. You can join the Sydney Ruby community at:
  http://groups.google.com/group/Sydney-Ruby-Users
.... for general commiseration about the lack of Ruby jobs downunder

Cheers,
Assaph

I introduced Ruby at ManageSoft (Melbourne) for use in code generators. We don't spend many Ruby-hours per week here, but there are bursts.
And yes, we've been hiring recently. C# is the main language of about
six languages that we use.

I'm using ruby in my day job, but its not a ruby job per-se.

Maybe we should form a loose collective of sorts.

We could refer to each other by number.

7 of 9 etc...

You can also check http://Jobs.Rubynow.com, I think there were a few
job postings forAustralia

Since it looks like you have a bogus email address, I'll reply to the list.

I'm very interested in working and living in Melbourne. What do I need to do to get y'all to consider me?

Sorry about that, but I assumed you'd enter "ManageSoft Melbourne jobs"
into Google :-). Our spam filters unfortunately aren't perfect yet :-}.

I believe "jobs-ap at-sign managesoft.com" is the right email address.
Send a CV or just make contact. I don't usually get personally
involved in hiring.
