Just passing along an article reference that was brought to my
attention.

Ruby for the Java world
July 2006

If you're interested in Ruby and Jave, I'll risk a bit of self promotion
and point out my interview with Charles Nutter and Thomas Enebo:

Interview: JRuby Development Team | Linux Journal

and two extra bits that didn't make it into the interview itself:

On Ruby: JRuby Interview Leftovers — Ruby Books
On Ruby: JRuby Interview Leftovers — A More Agile API

And as long as we're plugging articles, Obie posted an article on the our
(JRuby project) move from SourceForge to Codehaus. All told, it was a pretty
big news day for JRuby.

You guys got mentioned on the JavaPosse too:

Speaking of which, I bet they'd be interested in interviewing somebody
from the core JRuby team if you have time... it's worth dropping them a
line...

Yours,

JRuby Leaves SourceForge for Greener Pastures at Codehaus

I think that's the first time I've heard my name said in a podcast...creepy.
Yeah, sounds like they haven't been drinking the JRuby kool-aid yet, so
maybe we'll drop them a line. Ruby is rapidly infecting the Java
world...Rubyists rejoice!
