  • Ruby/GTK:

    • Many classes/methods are added.
    • Removed Gdk::Bitmap. Use Gdk::Pixmap(depth=1) instead.
    • Requires Ruby/GdkPixbuf.
      So ruby-gtk package include Ruby/GdkPixbuf now.
  • Ruby/GNOME:

    • Removed a part of Bonobo
      (It was moved to Ruby/Bonobo - They are not included this release)
  • Ruby/Libglade:

    • Added ruby-glade-create-template which create .rb from .glade.
  • rbbr:

  • Add Stock Item and Icon browser.
  • Follow Ruby-GNOME2 changes.
    This version works under Ruby-GNOME2-0.2.

What’s Ruby-GNOME2?

Ruby-GNOME2 is a set of Ruby language bindings for
the GNOME 2.0 development environment.

Supported libraries are:

  • Ruby/GLib2
  • Ruby/GTK2
  • Ruby/GdkPixbuf2
  • Ruby/GNOME2

rbbr-0.2 has a critical bug.
So we released rbbr-0.2rev1.

Ruby/GConf had a critical bug.
So we replaced Ruby-GNOME2-0.2 to Ruby-GNOME2-0.2rev1.

If you don’t use Ruby/GConf, you don’t need to update it.
