Present version of RSS aggregator ‘rubric’ is 0.2.1
Changes wrt. 0.2
- Now has version number and adds it to generated page.
- apos entity now is converted to literal apostrophe.
- Conversion to HTML has been improved.
- Some feeds were removed from sample config and some other were
added to it. - rubric no longer abort when local copy of RSS feed does not exist.
- Title of portal page can now be changed in config file.
- Homepage now has a Known Issues section
Changes wrt. 0.1
- Config file has changed. You at least have to add a value for
Portal_file - Missing directories are automatically generated.
- Should now run flawlessly under Windows.
- Entity decoding has been added (using Ruby’s CGI support)
- Support for feeds (like this one) that use preformatted text has
been added. - Rubric now by default uses $HOME/.rubricrc to find the feeds.
- It is possible to use alternative config files
- Default page title has been changed to “News”
- Page title has been changed to “News”
