Tk GUI Builder (or: Mom, can I bother ActiveState?)

Recently I hear few voices speaking about ruby/Tk
and I wondered if there was some pretty engine to
graphycally build Tk code a-la Qt-Designer, Visual* *Builder etc etc…

I discovered that ActiveState’s Komodo features a GUI Builder based on
tk and automagic translation to P*, Tcl, Ruby…
No, wait Ruby is not there.

I think I saw looong times ago someone talking about ruby support in
ActiveState products, some news?

And… should we start a mass mailing/petition to add ruby support in
the ActiveState brochure?

just my 2 eurocents

Remember that ActiveState isn’t a charity; you would probably need to
convince ActiveState that it’s in their commercial interest to provide
Ruby support in their product(s). For example, the Tk GUI builder tool
is available only in Komodo 2.3 Professional, which lists for $295.00.
Approximately how many customers do you think they would attract from
this mailing list?

I asked a couple months ago. They were not interested at that time.
