Laughed out loud when I read this.
Actually, it is still going on… David Black is sitting
at my conference table coding and eating Oreos ™
as I type…
There are four of us in on it, two of which are kind of
ducking in and out as time permits. David and I are the
constants. He has done the majority of the work; I was
taking a tack that didn’t pan out. Darwinian coding,
you know. But we have all supplied spare brain cells
and moral support, especially Meg, my cat. She is
probably covertly driving the whole thing via telepathy.
We’ll announce results in a day or two. Please don’t be
expecting anything truly earth-shattering, because this
was a fairly small-scale endeavor. But I’m pleased with
our progress overall, and think it was time well spent.
