e-mail was sent from, it is improtant as a gentleman who stole our car has
just sent me an e-mail from this same i.p number, i would appreciate if you
could help me to retreive the car

What type of scam is this?

They're probably just trying to get you to validate your email address

and get a list of people who are more likely to respond to spam.
