Ruby in small devices

Has Ruby been used in small devices - e.g. PDAs like the Compaq iPaq (linux)?

Is there a distribution - and how much memory is needed to run the interpreter?

Cheers

I installed it on my Zaurus. Here’s a link to the Zaurus Software
Index page for ruby 1.6.8:

I think Kero van Gelder runs it on an iPaq. I’ve also
heard it runs well on a Zaurus. No personal experience
in either case.

I’d love to have it on my Visor, but I think that
would be a big porting effort…

Currently run Ruby 1.6.5 on an Agenda VR3 Linux PDA with 8Mb RAM, which
seems a bit on the small side. Works nicely with smaller scripts that
don’t eat too much memory.
