Ruby/curses and osx

hi all

I’m trying to get ruby/curses installed on an OS/x machine (MAC G4).

it bombes out while trying to compile the make file with messages concerning unknown defines etc.

is there any ideas i need to look for or is there a specific ruby/curses implementation for OS/X

I know that the ppl who wrote bitch X needed modify it to work with OS/X curses.

any help would be appreciated.

charles

I have no problems compiling ruby/curses on my G4. I seem to remember that
this has been reported before and it turned out that I was a conflict with
Fink, specifically having Fink’s sw directory in your PATH. Try commenting
out anything in your .tcshrc file that adds sw to your path.

BTW, ruby/cures will build but not run unless you configure your Ruby build
with enable-shared.
