Where can I find details about what works and doesn’t
when holding Ruby CodeFests?
For example,
Would a vacation home with only a single phone line with
a wireless residential gateway work?
(E.g., http://geocities.com/~kleb/windsurfn/house/ )
How are the computers set-up? What sort of tables, chairs,
etc., facilitate?
How long (days)?
Is a local CVS server useful?
(http://www.rubygarden.org/ruby?RubyGatherings needs an update.)
Thanks,

I’d guess it would. We ran ours in a meeting room at a public library
… no Intenet connection at all

We had everyone taht had one bring in a laptop, wireless and cat5 10/100
BaseT was available for our internal network. Each pair got their own
table, and a large whiteboard was set up at the front of the room.
How long (days)?
Ours was one (short) day.
Is a local CVS server useful?
