Hi,

why will Rite feature compilation?

Is it because some people want to close their sources, or is it because
of speed?

I think you mean compilation to bytecode. It’s mostly because of
speed. Closing source will be done another way.

In the future, I plan to allow installing your own script preprocessor
to decrypt or uncompress the scripts.
