# Rails form help needed

For some reason my selct shows \<option value="#&lt;Tag:0x47f52e8&gt;"  
I am looking to have a select drop down box.  
this is my controller  
&nbsp;&nbsp;@nonExistingTags=Tag.find\_by\_sql("select \* from tags where id not in  
(select [t.id](http://t.id) from Tags t,tags\_trades tt where [t.id](http://t.id) = tt.tag\_id and  
tt.trade\_id= #{params[:id]})")

this is my view

\<% #deal with the tags not associated with this trade %\>  
\<%= form\_tag( :action =\> 'add\_tag' , :id=\>@nonExistingTags ) %\>  
\<%= select("id","description" , @nonExistingTags) %\>  
\<%= end\_form\_tag %\>
