I just discovered that documentation for the “standard library” in the
1.8 installer for windows does’nt appear in htmlo format.
This is’nt a great problem to me, but I suppose it should appear in
$ruby\doc\Ruby-1.8.0\
(actually this directory contains two subdirs:
- /doc: contains irb stuff, forwardable.rd, shell.rd… where is
everything else? - /sample: why this directory is here? why don’t put stuff in
$ruby/samples ?
