Netbeans 6.1 IDE - new install - ruby error? jruby?

Hello -

I am trying a new ruby IDE (Im very new to ruby, I was using Eclipse
with a ruby addon). I downloaded the Netbeans with Ruby install
package. Got it up and running, and when I try to execute/run a demo
.rb I get the following error

Can anyone help me with this?

I don't have a good solution for you, as I'm not using JRuby. But I
use the Ruby interpreter, and plugged in the fast debugger (for
Windows). Someday I will get into JRuby, as that is the only way to
run Ruby code on the mainframe.

Like you, I just started using NetBeans as a Ruby IDE. I had too many
problems trying to get Eclipse running under Linux and Windows.

For JRuby, I recommend installing the NetBeans 6.5 release candidate
(available at www.netbeans.org). There have been a lot of updates to
JRuby since 6.1. I'm using the NetBeans 6.5 beta right now and it's
rock solid.

Thanks, will do. Did you install the IDE with other languages (I think
it supports up to around 10 or so), or the Netbeans with jRuby and thats
it?
