So it's difficult for me to get ruby more recent than 1.8.5 installed.
However, I want to use an app that appears to depend on features on
rexml that didn't appear until the rexml bundled with ruby 1.8.7.
Is there any way to install the more recent rexml library into a ruby
1.8.5 installation? Or am I just asking for trouble trying to do that?
Any advice?
