Hello ALL!
I’ve just got a really weird segfault. It happened when accessing Mysql
via DBD-Mysql under mod_ruby.
I’ve installed lots of servers running mod_ruby and DBD-Mysql with no
problem so far… But this one have to have PHP also. And that seems to
be the problem! When I don’t load PHP it works like a charm!
Packages involved:
mod_ruby 1.0.7
ruby 1.8.1
mysql 4.0.6
apache 1.3.29
php 4.3.3
mysql-ruby 2.4.5
dbd:mysql 0.0.21-3
dbi 0.0.21-3
All of them from Debian, except mod_ruby, mysql-ruby and dbd:mysql that,
after tried with Debian ones, I decided to compile by myself (I had no
idea that turning off php would solve the problem). Both versions
(home-made and Debian’s) have the same problems.
This may be the same problem Matthew C. Mead reported on
ruby-talk/90650. Can anyone confirm that?

P.S.: php seems unaffected.
