Where might I find any useful starting points for license key management for
a commercial Ruby application? Ideally I would like to make it available for
download as a Windows executable, 30-ish days trial, then enter license key
or disable application.

I am not very worried about dedicated crackers, for now anyway.

A few days ago we had a long thread about obfuscating ruby source
code. There a few things were mentioned.
