If you live in or near New Jersey

Hi –

There’s a book warehouse in East Brunswick, NJ, which is selling
copies of the Pickaxe book (“Programming Ruby”) for $10 each. Some of
them are slightly banged up, but you can probably find one in
reasonable shape among the 200 or so that are there.

I bought some extras, which I will be thinking of some way to find
homes for… Stay tuned, especially you quasi-penniless students in
the United States

This place also has, of course, thousands and thousands of other
books, including (though not at all limited to) computer books. I
picked up a $50 Cisco network troubleshooting manual for $10.

http://www.bargainbooks.com has more info, location, and directions.
They are only open to the public on weekends.

That’s a great deal and all, but usually these places are selling
out-of-print books or old editions… Does this mean the PickAxe is going
out of print or something? OR, looking on he positive side, does this mean
that the Pickaxe is about to be rev’ed to a second edition?
