I’ve used Python on many a project but now am moving to Ruby
more and more. I’ve noticed a few things that still bug me
about Ruby however:
- Python has more 3rd party modules for it (pdf, graphics, etc).
Does the existence of Ruby/Python
(http://www.goto.info.waseda.ac.jp/~fukusima/ruby/python/doc/index.htm
l) make this irrelevant?
How usable is Ruby/Python? The only mention I’ve ever seen of it was
tucked away in one of the Ruby Eye for the Python Guy papers.
How is the performance impact? Is it bearable?
