Hi,
I plan to check out druby and rinda. I’d like to use
them in a Ruby app using FXRuby for building the GUI.
Should I expect problems with interoperating FXRuby
and rinda in the same app on Windows? I heard there
are issues with FXRuby and threaded applications and
I beleive rinda/druby uses threads.
Any help / experience on this appreciated.
Thanks,
Karsten

I have not used Rinda, but generally speaking you’re going to have
trouble using FXRuby w/threads on Windows with Ruby 1.6.7 or Ruby
versions 1.7.2 and earlier. Put another way – the bug has been fixed in
the CVS for Ruby versions 1.6.8 and 1.7.3.
