“It would be nice if” you could get a statement as a string, so that after
you’ve bound some variables, you can see what is sent to the database. This
would help in debugging.

If you tell me the DBD (Oracle, Mysql?) you need this feature for,
then I could add a driver specific method to it.
For the next major version (well, the first one) I plan to improve the
tracing functionality. But it will not happen this year…
