Configuracion de usuario

hola,

a hablar

rake post

la salida es la siguiente:
rake aborted!
rake aborted!
ArgumentError: invalid byte sequence in US-ASCII

(See full trace by running task with --trace)

hello,

i'm trying to set octopress to work on a page talking dedidacated to
Ruby (in general).

My problem is that most gems are installed with user administrator, I do
not want to change, to maintain system integrity.

I created a new user and do

rake post

the output is:

rake aborted!
rake aborted!
ArgumentError: invalid byte sequence in US-ASCII

(See full trace by running task With --trace)

My question is, is it because they have not given permissions in the sudoers
file?
I have to do specifically? What choice do I have?

From what I know, this message indicates that you are including
non-ASCII characters (e.g. characters with accent) in a string that's
encoded as US-ASCII. Thus, the message you get should have no relation
at all with permissions.

acento.???

That depends on the code that manages your strings. Ruby, based on
Japanese soil, cares very much about being able to use all sorts of
characters, but from experience I can tell you that to properly deal
with internationalization is a can of worms, that developers that
hardly see an accent in their day-to-day experience will happily leave
closed.

Ruby's strings are UTF-8-encoded as default, but somewhere in the code
you use, you have US-ASCII-encoded strings, and if you assign your
accents and cedillas to those strings, you get the special effects you
mentioned.

If you decide you want your accents and cedillas, you may have to
locate the place in the code that raises the exception, and open the
can of worms...

That does not sound good. I think I'll avoid accents, at least in the code of
the markdown.
The article I have to write with accents necessarily. But thank you very
much for the explanation

the Problem was resolved, thanks to all.
