# ASN.1 basic/distinguished encoding rules for Ruby?

Has anyone built a library for ASN.1’s BER or DER for Ruby?  
I can’t find “ASN” in the RAA…

I’m not aware of any generic ASN.1 package but Google “Ruby ASN.1” will  
reveal some projects, for example:  
[http://members.tripod.co.jp/m6809/index-j.html](http://members.tripod.co.jp/m6809/index-j.html) here you might be able to  
pick some BER code out of an SNMP implementation.
