It works great. I find that insertion time is faster using judy,
retrieval time is about the same.

Yes, this sounds consistent with what I was seeing. Judy arrays had slightly
faster lookup times but not substantial.

I also find that memory usage is lower with judy.

That's good to hear (I hadn't looked at memory use at all yet).

If an app needs many array lookups, every small improvement is
good.
