About rtttl player (new on RAA)

Saluton!

Among the recent additions to RAA there is a program that does
suggest it is possible to play RTTTL ringtones on a computer by means
of ANSI escape sequences.

THAT IS WRONG! The program uses Linux Console Private CSI Sequences
that are neither ECMA-48 (and therefore not in my module for that
sequences) nor native VT102. They are native to the Linux console
driver. Do not expect the program to run under DOS. It will run but
the beeps will all sound the same.

To the author of that program: You did copy the playlist that comes
packed with my C RTTTL ringtone player (after dropping comments and
empty lines from my original file the files are identical). Would you
consider mentioning the source of your ringtone file?

I don’t understand why you did drop the comments - your player is
capable of playing the original ringtone file as well.

More on the program: It does not run. For some strange reason it
starts with ‘

’ and ends with ‘
’.
